Looking to streamline the process of titling or registering your vehicle in Maryland? Our optional pre-application allows you to start the process before your visit. Once you complete the pre-application, we will email you a list of required documents to bring in when you obtain your tags.
Please note that some of the items listed may be necessary to complete your transaction, and you must have original documents as we do not accept copies or emailed copies.
Here are some of the required documents:
Proof of Ownership document
Insurance NAIC Code (Can be found on Insurance Card)
Bill of Sale (For Private Party Purchases)
Accurate reading of your Odometer
Lien holder information (If Applicable)
Additional Owner information (If Applicable)
We offer a fee-for-service, and we will email you a quote from Community Tag & Title Services. Once you accept the quote, we will send you an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, we will process your tags and notify you when they are ready to be picked up.
